I'm driven to improve how people understand the technology in their lives and to help them experience it with more joy and less frustration. At Hulu, I’ve been helping people TV better for the past 4+ years and have lead the design on many of our biggest feature launches across our web, mobile, and TV platforms. Before Hulu I lead product design for an international streaming TV startup. Prior to that I was in the agency world working on big brands and totally-awesome-at-the-time Flash sites.

The design process I like to facilitate is full of collaborations, post-its, questions, data deep-dives, concept explorations, Framer prototypes, and creative momentum. As design becomes code, I like to evangelize the design team’s work to everyone involved to educate, excite, and ensure that when it arrives on our users’ screens, the design vision is still intact from the system down to microinteractions.

Outside of design some of my happy places are snuggles with my baby daughter, going for long trail runs, feeling my mental hard drive restart while traveling, when the sounds and groove of a song I’m writing finally meld, losing my awareness of LA traffic to a good podcast, and biting into some freshly baked bread.
